Smart Logging for Email Campaigns without the Clutter
In marketing campaigns, visibility is essential, but chatter overload helps no one.
This module brings the right balance of traceability and clarity to your Email Marketing workflow by logging only what matters.
Save space, reduce noise, and keep your communication history clean.
Key Features
- Chatter Logging Toggle: Adds a new boolean field "Log Mailing" to campaigns that lets you decide whether to log email activity in the recipient's chatter.
- Clean Summary Message: Instead of full email content, a small note is posted with a direct link to the campaign that was sent.
- Failure Tracking: If a message fails (e.g. blacklisted, opt-out, SMTP error), a clear failure reason is logged.
- Works with Contacts, Mailing Contacts, and Lists: Automatically detects the campaign model and logs accordingly.

Limitations and Notes
By Odoo design, undelivered or failed messages (e.g. due to SMTP issues or blacklisting) may still appear in the recipient's chatter,
even when "Keep Archives" is disabled.
This module does not override that core behavior : instead, it adds clear log entries alongside it when the "Log Mailing" option is enabled.
Similarly, contacts without an email address are silently skipped by Odoo during campaign sending, and no trace is generated for them. This module respects that behavior and does not log those records either.
