Synconics has integrated Braintree payment with Odoo eCommerce merchant checkout page. It gives eCommerce merchants a simple and secure way to process payments through tokenization.

Set up Braintree credentials in Odoo's Payment Provider settings to enable seamless integration for processing payments.

To automatically process Authorize & Capture transactions,
ensure the
"Capture Amount Manually?"
option is enabled.
Note: If you have disable the "Capture Amount Manually ?" option then automatically confirmed order.

In Odoo eCommerce website payment page, select and configure Braintree payment provider.
Fill card details and click on "Pay now" button.

The transaction will be processed in Odoo side

Braintree side, user can see the payment transaction.

In Odoo side successful transaction details can be viewed in Provider Reference (Transaction number). If the transaction is not successful then the Provider Reference (Transaction number) will not be visible.

Select "Save my payment details" while making payment using Braintree Payment Provider and click on "Pay now" button, a payment token will be generated after the transaction is successfully done from the Braintree side

In payment screen, select payment token and click on "Pay now" button

Check the transaction details in Odoo side.

Go to the Payment Transactions, open authorized transaction and click on the "Capture Transaction" button to manually capture the transaction

Check the confirmed payment transaction details in Odoo side

Go to the Payment Transaction, open transaction and click on the "Void Transaction" button to cancel the transaction.

The payment transaction will be canceled on Braintree side

Check the canceled payment transaction details in Odoo side

Go to the Customer, open customer and click on the "Braintree" tab to view the details, where you can update customer information and delete customer from Braintree.

Does this module allow the user to capture payment manually after authorize ?
Yes, it will allow for customer to capture payment manually.
Can we pay an order using a saved token?
Yes, this module is able to make payments using saved tokens.
Can we void the captured transaction using this module?
Yes, this module is able to make void transaction.
Does this module allow the user to change customer information like phone or email?
Yes, this module is able to update customer information like phone or email and also able to delete the customer.
Does this module allow the user to pay an order partially?
No, this module does not provide this feature.
