Period Lock for Journals
Overview
This module allows to block specific journals like bank,customer invoices, vendor bills based on given date range which time period has locked.
Features
- Lock specific journals for specific time period.
- Access rights to specific users for 'lock and 'unlock' journal.
- Unlock option is available for revert the lock when necessary.
How It Works
Access rights to specific users for 'Period Lock' menu.
Period Lock menu visible only for access right's user.
Enter required details in period lock form view and lock it.
Unlock option is available for revert the lock when required.
Make the invoice which period is locked.
So validation raised for that.
Confirm the invoice which period is locked.
So validation raised for that.
Track period lock changes in chatter history.
Validation raised for 'make credit notes' or 'confirm credit notes' which period is locked.
Validation raised for 'make sales receipt' or 'confirm sales receipt' which period is locked.
Validation raised for 'make vendor bill' or 'confirm vendor bill' which period is locked.
Validation raised for 'make refunds' or 'confirm refunds' which period is locked.
Validation raised for 'make purchase receipt' or 'confirm purchase receipt' which period is locked.
Validation raised for 'make journal entries' or 'confirm journal entries' which period is locked.
Validation raised for the duplicate record of period lock.
Validation raised for the from and to date is not proper.
Validation raised when create new period lock which already created.
