Odoo Personal Tutoring and Session Management

This module provides a simple yet effective solution for managing personal tutoring activities within Odoo. It is designed to help tutors organize their classes and batches efficiently, regardless of the subject or specialization. Whether youre an academic tutor, music instructor, art teacher, swimming coach, or computer trainer, this module enables streamlined management of your sessions.

Tutors can easily create and assign batches, schedule classes, and track key information all from a centralized interface.

Key Features of Personal Tutor Management in Odoo:

  • Configure and manage Tutor Class Stages to define the lifecycle of each class.
  • Define and manage Courses using Odoos standard eLearning module (leveraging the built in course model).
  • Set up and manage Classrooms where tutoring sessions are conducted.
  • Define multiple Tuition Locations to assign physical or virtual places for classes.
  • Manage Faculties (Tutors) with user based access and assignment capabilities.
  • Create Batches and assign relevant Tutors, Students, and Courses to each batch.
  • Allow tutors to create Daily Class Sessions with start and end times, and mark Student Attendance.
  • Tutors can automatically fetch students related to a batch using the Get Students button.
  • After creating a lesson, tutors can manually Send Lessons to Students via Email using the Send by Email button.
  • Tutor Administrators have access to all class and batch records across the system.
  • Faculty (Tutor) users can only view and manage their own batch related classes.
  • Portal Users (Students) can access their own batch related classes and lessons via the Odoo Website (My Account section).

  • You can create multiple class stages as needed to represent the progression of a tutor session.
  • When creating a "Running" stage, ensure the "Is Running" checkbox is selected.
  • When creating a "Completed" stage, ensure the "Is Completed" checkbox is selected.
