Pet Grooming Module

The Pet Grooming module for Odoo provides a complete solution for managing pet grooming services, vaccination records, and pet orders.

Configuration

• Define pet categories and services from the configuration menu.
• Set up groomers and veterinarians as partners with appropriate roles.
• Configure products for grooming services and vaccinations.

Usage

• Create and manage pets and their owners.
• Schedule and track grooming appointments and services.
• Record and print vaccination certificates for pets.
• Manage pet orders and related services from the Orders menu.
• Monitor the status of grooming and vaccination services.

Access Rights

• Pet Grooming User: Manage pets, appointments, and orders.
• Pet Groomer / Veterinarian: View pet and order information, update service status, and manage vaccination records.
• Pet Grooming Manager: Full access to all features and configuration.

Quotations and Orders

The Quotations and Orders menus allow you to manage sales documents for pet grooming services. These menus are based on the standard Odoo Sales Order form, with additional fields tailored for pet grooming businesses.

• Pet: Select the pet for which the service is being ordered.
• Groomer: Assign a groomer responsible for the service. This field is available in both the order header and individual service lines.

Scheduled Activities

Grooming users can manage and track scheduled activities directly from the quotations and orders menus. These activities help users stay on top of upcoming appointments, follow-ups, and important tasks related to pet grooming services.

Pet Services

The Pets > Services > Services menu provides a comprehensive overview of all grooming services, their progress, and assignment details. From this menu, you can track ongoing and completed services, assign groomers, and update service statuses.

Vaccination Records

The Pets > Services > Vaccination menu allows veterinarians to record vaccination progress and print certificates for pets. This helps maintain accurate health records and ensures pets receive the necessary vaccinations on time.

Pet Information

The Pet Information view provides detailed profiles for each pet, including breed, age, vaccination history, and owner details. Grooming users can also schedule the next vaccination date directly from the pet profile.

Vaccine Information

The Vaccine Information view displays details for each vaccine product, including standard product fields and additional vaccine-specific information:

• Vaccine Type: Core or Non-core.
• Manufacturer: Manufacturer of the vaccine.
• Duration (months): How long the vaccine remains effective.

Groomer and Veterinarian Profiles

Groomers and veterinarians are managed as partners in the system. Their profiles include a dedicated Pet Grooming tab to track grooming assignments, specialties, and related information.

Pet Categories

The Pet Categories feature lets you define and manage categories or breeds. This helps organize pets by type, breed, or other criteria, making it easier to manage services and records tailored to each category.
