POS Flat/fix Discount
This module allows users to apply a fixed (flat amount) discount on POS order lines. The feature can be enabled or disabled from POS Settings. A Flat Discount button appears on the POS screen and becomes active only when a product is added. Clicking it opens a number popup to enter the discount amount. It supports both percentage and fixed discounts together, with real-time recalculation of subtotal, taxes, and totals, and clearly displays the applied discount on the screen.

POS Flat/fix Discount
Our all-inclusive Odoo – POS Flat / Fixed Discount allows users to apply a fixed (flat amount) discount directly on POS order lines. The feature can be enabled or disabled from POS Settings. When activated, a dedicated “Fix Discount” button appears on the POS screen and becomes active only after a product is added. Clicking the button opens a number popup to enter the discount amount. It supports both percentage and fixed discounts together, with real-time recalculation of subtotal, taxes, and total amounts.
POS Flat/fix Discount

Complete Workflow for Manage POS Flat/fix Discount
First, install and activate the "POS Flat/Fixed Discount" module. After activation, go to Point of Sale → Configuration → POS Settings and enable the Enable Flat/Fix Discount option. Once enabled, a Fix Discount button will appear on the POS screen. The button becomes active only after adding a product to the order. Clicking it opens a number popup where users can enter the fixed discount amount. The system supports both percentage and fixed discounts together, with automatic real-time recalculation of subtotal, taxes, and total amounts.
POS Flat/fix Discount
1.Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → POS Settings and Enable Enable Flat/Fix Discount.
2.The Flat Discount button is always visible on the POS screen when the feature is enabled. If no product is added or no product line is selected, the button remains disabled and cannot be clicked.
3.Once a product is added and a product line is selected, the button becomes active and users can apply the fixed discount.
4. Click the Flat Discount button to open the number popup.
5.Enter the fixed discount amount in the popup.
6.The fixed discount is applied to the selected order line.
7.Subtotal, taxes, and total amounts are recalculated instantly.
8.Both percentage and fixed discounts can be applied together on the same order line.
