Pharma GS1 Scanner
GS1 scanning for purchase orders and incoming shipments: resolve items by GTIN, carry batch, serial, expiry, and quantity segments from the barcode into Odoo lines, and reduce manual entry errors in pharmacy-style receiving.
Features
- Covers common GS1 application identifiers such as GTIN (01), batch (10), serial (21), expiry (17), production (11), and variable count (30).
- Purchase order actions to scan a payload and align order lines with detected products and logistics data.
- Receipt flows that propose quantities and lot values consistent with the scanned string.
- Clear validation when a product is unknown, a lot already exists, or a date field is not usable.
- Works with typical 1D symbologies and with QR or DataMatrix content when the scanner delivers plain text to Odoo.
Dependencies
Requires the Odoo purchase, stock, and product apps. Install the POS GS1 module if you also need register-side scanning that reuses the same parser.
