Scan Product Barcode in Purchase Order
Overview
This module allows to add order line in purchase order using scan barcode in purchase order form view.
Features
- Add purchase order line based on product barcode scannig.
- Configuration to add purchase order line based on scanning with quantity and without quantity.
How It Works
Added barcode for product 'desk stand with screen' and 'storage box'.
Barcode scanning configuration in purchase.
- Enable 'scan product with quantity' to add po line with quantity based on scanning else po line added with 1 quantity based on scanning.
- Click on 'Download Barcodes' for download PDF of 'SAVE-AND-CLOSE' and 'SAVE-AND-NEW' barcodes.
Barcodes PDF downloaded after click on 'Download Barcodes' from Barcode Scanning configuration.
Scan barcode globally in purchase order form view to add order line.
'Scan product' wizard open to add quantity after scanning done from Purchase form view if 'Scan Product with Quantity' configuration is enable.
- Scanned value auto add in barcode.
- scan globally 'SAVE-AND-CLOSE' barcode or click 'Save and Close' button to add order line and close wizard.
- scan globally 'SAVE-AND-NEW' barcode or click 'Save and New' button to add order line and open wizard again to add order line again.(This time the barcode value is not add auto)
On trigger 'Save and Close' Order line added based on scanned barcode and added quantity.
Validation raised when scaned wrong barcode.
Disable 'Scan Product with Quantity' configuration.
Scan barcode globally in purchase order form view to add order line.
Order line added directly based on scanned barcode after scanning done in po form view.
- Here order line added directly with 1 quantity without open 'scan product' wizard because 'Scan Product with Quantity' configuration is disable.
Click on scan button for open 'scan product' wizard.
Wizard open after click 'scan' button, Add barcode and quantity detail and scan or click any action of 'Save and Close' & 'Save and New' to add order line as explain before.
Hide 'scan' button and global scanning is deactivate when purchase order in 'Locked' or 'Cancelled' state.
