How It Works
Install the Module
Install POS Cash Closeout from the Apps menu. No additional external dependencies — only point_of_sale and stock are required.
Configure the Point of Sale
Go to POS → Configuration → Settings and enable "Print Closeout on POS Screen" along with any optional report sections.
Print from the Backend Session
Open any POS session and click the "POS Cash Closeout" button or use the print menu to generate the PDF.
Print from the POS Screen
With the session open, a "Session Report" button appears in the POS controls. Clicking it opens the PDF in a new browser tab.
Automatic Report on Session Close
When closing the session from the POS, the Cash Closeout report is generated and displayed automatically so the cashier can print it before finishing.
