POS Disable Options Advanced Odoo module enhances Point of Sale (POS) security and workflow control by restricting specific actions based on user roles, such as cashiers and managers. It prevents cashiers from removing orders once items have been sent to the kitchen, disables setting product quantity to zero, and limits the ability to process refunds or apply global discounts to authorized users only. Additionally, it ensures that only managers can override these controls. Integrated with the Kitchen Display module, the system secures the order flow from cart to kitchen, giving businesses tighter control over sales operations and minimizing unauthorized changes at the POS interface.
Allow/Deny POS Features
You can Allow/Deny POS feature like Payments, Discount Offerings, Quantity of Product, Editing Product Price, Removing order lines, Customer Selection, +/- button, Numpad, Refund, Global Discount and Remove Sent Kitchen Order option.
Dynamic Access Control
You can give Dynamic access to particular users and employee, so that user and employee can have access to only his/her allow functionalities.
POS Allow/Deny Features
This module allows you to control which user or employee can have access of how much functionalities in POS:
- Allow/Deny Payments.
- Allow/Deny Discount Offerings.
- Allow/Deny Quantity of Product.
- Allow/Deny Editing Product Price.
- Allow/Deny Removing order lines.
- Allow/Deny Customer Selection.
- Allow/Deny Numpad.
- Allow/Deny +/- Button.
- Allow/Deny Refund Button.
- Allow/Deny Global Discount Button.
- Allow/Deny Remove Sent Kitchen Order.
POS Multi Employees per Session Configuration
Odoo version 18 has feature to log-in with multi employees per session, or user can choose or select employee from the current POS session for that on POS settings you can select employee which will be available for the POS sessions.
POS Allow/Deny Configuration for User
Allow/Deny POS Features like Payment, Quantity, Discount, Edit Price, Remove Order-line, Customer Selection, +/- Button, Numpad, Refund, Global Discount and Remove Sent Kitchen Order option for Particular POS User.
POS Allow/Deny Configuration for Employee
When employee link with User(related users assigned for employee) then his/her settings manages from the users.
When employee doesn't link with User(related users not assigned for employee) then his/her settings manages from employee form.
Go to Point of sale-> Actions then it will show a button list. As per configured cashier allowed POS features should be visible in POS screen.

Here you can see Refund, Global Discount and Remove Sent Kitchen Order options are disabled or hide.
When Remove Sent Kitchen Order options is on then it will allow to remove quantity/product from cart. When Remove Sent Kitchen Order options is off then it will give you a alert message.
