POS Employee Discount Management
4 dynamic discount buttons on the POS numpad — line %, order %, line amount, order amount. Each button independently controlled per employee: Active, Inactive, or Hidden.

A 2×2 grid appears below the numpad when a line is selected. Each button reflects the active cashier’s permission level.
4 Discount Types
Cover every discount scenario your cashiers need.
ð·ï¸ % Line Discount (%)
Percentage discount on the selected order line. Enhanced popup shows line total, real-time discount amount and remaining balance. Pre-filled with the current discount value for easy adjustment.
ð % Order Discount (%)
Percentage discount on the entire order. Creates per-tax-group negative lines â fully compatible with Odoo’s internal rounding. Pre-fills with existing order discount if one is already applied.
ð·ï¸ â¼ Line Amount Discount
Fixed currency amount discount on the selected order line. Internally converted to a percentage â stays fully compatible with Odoo’s order line model. Shows equivalent percentage in the feedback preview.
ð â¼ Order Amount Discount
Fixed currency amount deducted from the entire order. Added as a single tax-free negative line — what the cashier enters is exactly what the customer saves. No rounding surprises.
Per-Employee Access Control
HR → Employees → POS Discounts tab — set each button independently.
