Keep PoS Orders as Draft When Closing a Session
Keep PoS orders in draft state when closing a session. Manage incomplete orders without automatically cancelling them.
Ideal for restaurants, bars, and retail environments. Compatible with Odoo PoS Standard and PoS Restaurant.

Workflow
Enable the Feature: Activate the option âKeep orders as draft when closing the sessionâ
in the PoS configuration to enable this functionality.
Control Buttons: Use the âPending Ordersâ button to view pending orders
and âSave Order as Pendingâ to mark the current order as pending.
Smart Closing: When closing the session, a dialog allows you to choose whether to
review orders, cancel them, or keep them as pending.
Recover Orders: Select a pending order from the list to
reload it in the new session and continue editing it.
View Pending Orders: Pending orders are clearly visible in the PoS order list,
allowing cashiers and managers to easily identify, track, and resume unfinished orders.

- Restaurants: Keep open table orders between shift changes without losing information.
