POS Payment Method Restriction

OMAX INFORMATICS

Overview

The POS Payment Restriction app is used to limit or control payment types, conditions, or scenarios under which payments can be processed at the Point of Sale (POS). This helps improve compliance, security, operational control, and fraud prevention.

This module allows restrict POS payment methods based on specific conditions, such as employee, customer, country, product, or a defined time period between start and end dates. When restrictions are applied, the corresponding payment method is automatically hidden from the POS payment screen, ensuring better control, compliance, and flexibility in managing transactions.

Features

→ Restrict POS payment methods by employee.

→ Restrict POS payment methods by customer.

→ Restrict POS payment methods by country.

→ Restrict POS payment methods by product.

→ Restrict POS payment methods within a specific date range (start date to end date).

→ Automatically hide restricted payment methods from the POS payment screen based on above configuration.

→ Ensure secure, controlled, and flexible payment management in POS operations.

→ For the customers configured in the restriction settings, the Card payment option will not be displayed on the POS payment screen.

Payment Methods
→ In this example, the selected payment method is Cash.
→ Specific products and countries are configured for restriction.
→ Customers purchasing the selected products will not have access to the Cash payment option.
→ Customers belonging to the restricted countries will not be able to make payments using the Cash method.

Product Screen
→ In this case, the selected products are restricted from using the Cash payment method.
→ The selected customer belongs to a restricted country and cannot make payments via Cash.

Payment Screen

Payment Methods
