How It Works

When configuring a pricelist rule, you can now define which weekdays it should be active. For example, create a rule that applies only on Mondays and Fridays.

The system checks the current weekday and applies the rule only if it matches. This enables smart pricing strategies like early-week discounts or weekend specials.

Example: rule active on Mondays and Fridays only.

POS Integration

When using the POS module, pricelist rules will be evaluated based on the current weekday:

• If the selected pricelist has rules valid for today, those prices will be applied.
• If the pricelist has weekday restrictions and today is not included, the rule will be ignored.
• If no valid rule is found for today, the system will fall back to the products base price.

This ensures that promotions or discounts are only applied when intended, and avoids mispricing during off-days.

Installation

1. Download the module from the Odoo App Store.
2. Install it from the Apps dashboard.
3. Go to Pricelists and create or edit a rule.
4. Use the Validity Period field to select weekdays.
