POS CashDro Connector

Connect Odoo to a CashDro smart draw

Main features:
  • Define a new payment method called CashDro
  • Using the CashDro payment method allows you to connect to the different CashDro smart drawers on the market
  • To connect to the drawer, this module connects to a local connection software (gateway).
  • You dont't need IOTBOX
  • You can cancel the payment from the POS of Odoo.
  • You can deposit and withdraw cash from the machine directly from Odoo.
  • You can manage Odoo's cash opening control in coordination with the cash drawer.

How it works

When installing the module, You must create a payment method called CashDro.

The connector is designed with a new architecture based on the POS payment terminals. Therefore the communication is made from the web browser.

This payment method must be configured manually in the POS where you want to use .

The module establishes the connection between Odoo and the gateway, which is the link between Odoo and the drawer. The check allows you to go directly to the ticket once paid. The installation of the gateway license and configuration is included in the module price, and it will be configurated by our technical team. The license will be installed on the POS device (Windows).

Once the gateway is configured, SMARTCASH can be used as a payment method to charge its customers.

Pressing the SMARTCASH payment method passes control to the gateway and therefore to the drawer asynchronously, so that we send the message and we can continue working with the POS.

You can cancel the payment in any moment you want from Odoo POS.

You can retry the payment after cancelling it.

At the time the payment is made in the drawer, we will be notified immediately that the payment is made and we can validate it.

Additional features

You can use the Cash Out feature to withdraw money from the cash drawer.

You can use the Cash In feature to deposit money into the cash drawer.

Dependencies

This module depends on the CashDro POS SmartCash (Terminal) module to function and cannot be used on its own.

This module requires a gateway to complete the configuration. Both the license and gateway configuration are included in the price, and our technician will be responsible for its installation. If the installation of more than one drawer is required, additional service charges will apply for the technical team's time dedicated to the remote installation and configuration of the local connection software (gateway). miss understanding but we found a solution with the module company, we have 8 branches so need to buy extyra support for each branch to instal the gateway, the info wasn't on the mosule page but any way we will instal it and see if its good . Thanks

Teh module is not Plub and play and need local instalations and local gateway , other thing you can't use it if you have multiple branches and need to buy one licence by cashdro, tyhey will text you in whatsapp and ask you foor more money to instal other licences

Due to the system's architecture, as indicated on the website, local software is required, which is fully included in the price, in addition to the work of our technical team for its installation and configuration (up to 2 hours of work). We have been threatened with negative reviews if we did not install and configure over 14 points of sale in different stores, including queue management to share different Cashdros, for the same price, a circumstance we have not accepted. We understand that they are dedicated to seeking features that are not included in order to threaten with refunds and thus keep the free software from the developing companies. We are alerting companies to this so that they are aware.
