POS User Isolation
Overview
POS User Isolation is a security module for Odoo's Point of Sale that restricts which POS configurations each user can access. In multi-shop or multi-outlet scenarios, this ensures that cashiers and managers only have access to their assigned point of sale configurations.

Configuration
For the module to work properly, you must perform two essential setup steps:
1. Add users to the "User: Own POS Only" security group
- Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users
- Edit each user that should have restricted POS access
- Under the Access Rights tab, find the Point of Sale section
- Set the user's access to "User: Own POS Only"
- Save the changes
Important: Users not added to this security group will continue to see all POS configurations as usual (no isolation).
2. Assign users to specific POS configurations
- Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale
- Open each POS configuration
- In the configuration page, find the "Allowed Users" field under the Security section
- Add the users who should have access to this specific POS
- Save the configuration
Only users assigned to a POS configuration will be able to see and access it.
