PRAGTECH DYNAMIC USER NOTIFICATION is a powerful and flexible Odoo module that allows businesses to automatically send real-time notifications to users based on dynamic, configurable rules. Whether it's a new record creation or a state change on any model, this app ensures that the right users are notified at the right time.

1. Module Installation:

To install the module, go to the Apps menu and search for pragtech_dynamic_user_notification. Once it appears in the list, click Install to complete the installation process.

2. User Notification Rules Menu:

  • After installing the module, enable Developer Mode to access technical settings.
  • Navigate to Settings → Technical, where the user will find a new menu item called User Notification Rules.

3. Creating Rules Based On Model:

Users can create multiple notification rules for specific models such as Sales Order, Purchase Order, or Invoices.
  • Notification rules can be triggered when a record is created or when a specific state is changed.
  • Users can specify which users should receive the notifications.
  • Each rule can be activated or deactivated depending on user needs.

4. Notifications Sent to Specified Users:

When a new Sales Order is created or its state is updated, the configured rule will trigger automatically.
The specified users will receive immediate notifications.

5. Module Workflow:

  • After installing the module, users will be able to create notification rules under Settings → Technical → User Notification Rules.
  • In the notification rule creation form, users can select any model for which they want to receive notifications whenever a new record is created.
  • Users can also configure notifications based on specific state changes.
  • It is possible to assign multiple users to receive notifications.
  • Notifications will be timely and clearly indicate who made the changes, along with proper message formatting for better readability.
