Automatic product replacement
Automatically replace products in both sales- and purchase orders
This module allows you to automatically replace products in both sales- and purchase orders.
You can define a replacement product for a product, and the module will automatically replace the product
in both sales- and purchase orders where this product is used.
This will work both with entering lines manually in the user interface, and when lines are created
automatically
from API calls.
User manual
Open a product by going to either stock, purchase or sales application => Products => Products
Open the product you want to replace
Open the product you want to replace
Set the replacement product in the product form, under the new "Lifecycle" section
Next time the product is used in a sales order, the product has been replaced and a log has been written to the chatter
Next time the product is used in a purchase order, the product has been replaced and a log has been written to the chatter
