Product Sequential Default Code
Description
This module allows you to generate a default code and barcode for a product, service, or combo. By registering consecutively each time you create a new product, this app will automatically generate a default code.
Features
- When a consumable product is created, a code with the pattern: PRD0000000001 is generated.
- When a product or service is created, a code with the pattern SRV0000000001 is generated.
- When a combo product is created, a code with the pattern: CMB0000000001 is generated.
If a created product is manually assigned an internal code, this value will be the one configured in the product; automatic code generation is not assigned.
Configuration details
The code sequence and prefix can be configured from: Settings / Technical / Sequences & Identifiers / Sequences
By default, there are three records: consumable product, service, and combo. However, more records can be added as needed.
