Bulk Product UoM Update - Unit of Measure Sync
Bulk UoM Update: Update unit of measure (UoM), measure update, or measures update for multiple products, ensuring consistency across sales, purchase, inventory, manufacturing, POS, and accounting records.
Change Unit of Measure Even After Orders Are Created
Update product UoM, change UoM, or modify measure for products, and this module will automatically adjust all related records, including sales orders, purchase orders, stock movements, POS orders, accounting entries, and manufacturing processes. Mass UoM update or UoM sync ensures accuracy across your operations.
Key Features
- Bulk UoM update or measure update with a user-friendly wizard.
- Built-in checks to prevent errors during UoM updates.
- Clear warnings to guide you through the process.
- New: Enhanced support for financial valuation (stock_valuation_layer).
- New: Partial support for Manufacturing with BOM (mrp_bom), BOM lines (mrp_bom_line) and Production Orders (mrp_production).
Affected Tables
(product_template, purchase_order_line, purchase_requisition_line, sale_order_line, stock_move, stock_move_line, stock_quant, stock_scrap, stock_valuation_layer, pos_order_line, account_move_line, mrp_bom, mrp_bom_line, mrp_production)
Compatibility and Limitations
This module works seamlessly with Inventory (stock), Products (product), Sales (sale), Purchase (purchase), Point of Sale (pos), and Accounting (account). It provides partial support for Manufacturing (mrp), currently covering BOM, BOM lines and Production Orders. Full support for Manufacturing (e.g., Work Orders, Routings) or other advanced modules may require additional customization.
