Execute PSQL Query in Odoo's User Interface

PSQL Query Execute using User Interface in Odoo and Export Results to Excel

This application enables you to directly execute a query in the Odoo user backend interface and provide the output in an Excel format for select queries, as demonstrated below.



Main Features
  • To enable users to run queries, it is necessary to assign the "Run SQL Query" group to the user form.
  • Enable the user to execute a psql query on the database they are currently logged into.
  • The select system query will provide the output result in excel format after it has been executed.
  • Messages regarding updates, deletions, and other queries will be displayed on the screen.
  • Every query executed by the user will be logged for record-keeping purposes.
  • You are provided with the capability to observe the model name and field that are applicable for use in the query.
  • Prior to executing the run command on the screen, ensure that the PSQL Query is directed to the Database for direct execution.

SQL Query Execution Menu

Perform a SELECT Query

Verification of confirmation is required prior to executing the query.

Upon verification, the user will be able to access and download the output file in EXCEL format

Perform a JOIN operation in order to execute a SELECT query

Execute the SELECT query with the specified column(s).

Perform the UPDATE query

Upon executing the UPDATE query, the user will receive a message indicating the number of records that have been processed

Execute DELETE Query

After executing the DELETE query, the user will receive a message indicating the number of records that have been processed

If there is an issue with the query, an error will be generated.

The query result will display an error message to the user.
