Purchase Order Line Duplicate
Add a one-click Copy button to purchase order lines so buyers can duplicate a line with the same product, quantities, pricing, taxes, and planning details without retyping.
Why this add-on
- Reduce manual entry when orders contain repeated items or similar lines.
- Keep price, taxes, discount, packaging, and planned date identical to the source line.
- Insert the new line right after the original one to maintain a clean sequence.
How it works
- Open a Purchase Order in draft, sent, or to-approve state.
- In the order line grid, click Copy next to the line you want to duplicate.
- A new line appears immediately, carrying over the same product and all related fields.
The button is hidden for section/note lines and when the order is no longer editable.
Compatibility
- Tested on Odoo 18.0 (community/enterprise).
- Depends only on the standard
purchasemodule.
