Purchase Order Stock Availability & Forecast

Check current stock and forecasted quantity directly on Odoo 18 purchase order lines — avoid over-ordering by seeing what you already have before placing a PO.
This module enhances the Odoo purchase order line view by displaying the current quantity on hand, forecasted quantity, and stock status for each product directly in the purchase order form. Activate the fields by clicking the optional columns (dots icon) at the line level.

Who is this for? Purchasing teams and procurement managers using Odoo 18 who want to verify current stock levels while creating purchase orders — preventing unnecessary over-ordering when sufficient stock is already available. Works on Odoo.sh and On-Premise.

How do I activate the stock columns on the purchase order line?
Click the optional columns icon (three dots) at the top right of the purchase order line table and enable "Qty On Hand", "Forecasted Qty", and "Stock Coverage" fields in Odoo 18.
Does this work on Odoo Community edition?
Yes — compatible with Odoo 18.0 Community and Enterprise on Odoo.sh and On-Premise. Not available for Odoo Online (SaaS).
Will the stock values change after I confirm the purchase order?
No. Stock field values are fixed once the PO is confirmed. They only update in real time while the purchase order is in Draft (RFQ) state in Odoo 18.
Can I see stock for products across multiple warehouses?
Yes — use the detail button on the purchase order line to open a popup showing available stock broken down by warehouse location in Odoo 18.
