Get Your QuickBooks Keys

Create Your Connection

In Odoo, open Invoicing, then QuickBooks, then QuickBooks Accounts. Paste your keys and copy the Redirect URI back into your Intuit app.

Authorize & Confirm

Click Authorize, sign in to QuickBooks once, then click Confirm Connection. You are connected.

Sync Your Chart of Accounts

One click imports your QuickBooks accounts and matches them to Odoo. Adjust any mapping if you want.

Run Your First Sync

Open the Sync window, choose what to import or export and a date range, and click Sync. Done.

Getting Started

Is this application compatible with both Odoo Enterprise and Community editions?

Yes, the application is fully compatible with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.SH) as well as Community. Please note that Odoo Online (Cloud) does not support the installation of third-party apps, so this app cannot be installed on Odoo Online.

Does it work with QuickBooks Online and the free Sandbox?

Yes, both are supported. A single switch on the connection flips between the QuickBooks Sandbox and your live Production company, so you can test with confidence and then go live when you are ready.

How do I connect Odoo to QuickBooks?

Paste the Client ID and Client Secret from your Intuit Developer account, copy the redirect link into your Intuit app, and click Authorize. You sign in to QuickBooks once, confirm the connection, and sync your Chart of Accounts. That is it, you are ready.

Sync & Automation

Can I sync only invoices and skip everything else?

Yes. On the Automation tab, tick only the document types you want for import and for export. Everything else is left untouched, and the choice is respected everywhere: the sync window, auto-export on confirm, and the background jobs.

Will importing or exporting thousands of records time out?

No. Turn on the background jobs and the connector processes records in small batches on a schedule, so large volumes complete quietly in the background without holding up your screen or timing out.

Will it create duplicate invoices or bills?

No. Before creating anything, the connector checks whether the document already exists in QuickBooks and links to it instead of making a copy. Re-running a sync is always safe.

Data & Safety

What happens if one record fails to sync?

That record is skipped and logged with the reason, and the rest keep going. If you turn on alerts, the connector also raises a scheduled activity so the right person can review it.

Is my QuickBooks connection secure?

Yes. You sign in through the official QuickBooks authorization screen, access is renewed automatically in the background, and the connection details are visible only to your accounting managers.
