Set Up
Download the Alankit Odoo Connector: Customer GST Info app directly from the Odoo App Store.
Navigate to the new Alankit Configuration app on your dashboard.
Go to "Alankit Instance" and create a new record.
Input the secure credentials provided by your Alankit portal account:
- GST URL
- Username & Password
- Subscription Key
- GST Public Key
Click the "GST Authentication" button.
Ensure the instance status changes to "Verified."
Work Flow
Go to the Contacts menu in Odoo and click to create a new contact.
Enter Basic Info: Type in the customer, vendor, or company name (if the exact legal name is
unknown, a
temporary placeholder like "Test" or "ABC" works).
Enter the customer's GSTIN number in the designated field.
Click the Get GSTIN Infobutton.
