Set Up
Download & Install: First, download the "Zoho Mail Odoo Connector for Email & Inbox Sync" app
from the Odoo App Store.
The app will be visible on your Odoo dashboard upon installation.
Configure Outgoing Mail Server: Navigate to the Mail Configuration menu and configure your
Outgoing Mail
Server first.
Password Generation Steps:
Open a browser, go to your account and sign in.
Tap the menu (or swipe) and go to Security >> 2-Step Verification to ensure it's on.
Back under Signing in to Google, tap App passwords.
Follow the same Create >> Select app/device >> Generate >> copy flow as above.
(Note: If using the Gmail mobile app, you normally don't need an app password.)
Configure Incoming Mail Server: Next, configure your Incoming Mail Server with your specific details.
Update User Profile: Go to
Settings >> Users & Companies >> Users.
Select your user profile and then your
Related Partner. Update the Email field with the same address you used for your incoming
and outgoing
mail servers

Verify Configuration: Go to your Incoming Mail Server settings and click the Test & Confirm button to ensure the connection is active.
Fetch Emails: Click Fetch now to pull all recent emails from the server, or use Fetch mail by date to retrieve emails from a specific time range.
View Your Inbox: The newly fetched emails will appear instantly on your main dashboard, within the Inbox folder.
