Set Up
Install the ShipEngine Shipping Connector for Odoo: Live Rates, Label Generation & Shipment Tracking app from the Odoo App Store
Navigate to the ShipEngine Connector from configuration menu, create a new integration record, enter your API key and URL/host details, select your environment and company, save, and then click Test Connection to validate your credentials.
Once you are fully integrated, click Retrieve Carrier Accounts to automatically import all active carriers from your ShipEngine profile.
Navigate to Inventory/Sales > Configuration > Shipping Methods, also you can directly click on the Shipping Methods from ShipEngines and create a new method, selecting ShipEngine as the provider and define your supported carriers in the configuration notebook. Click Publish on Website if you want this method available for customer checkout.
Work Flow
After confirming a Sales Order a corresponding Delivery Order are generated in Odoo and validate them.
When the warehouse team validates the package, they click the "Send to Shipper" actions. Odoo transmits the final dimensions to ShipEngine, generates the official carrier tracking barcode, downloads the shipping label PDF, and attaches it instantly to the Odoo Chatter log.
If you click on cancle button the generated label url, ID, shipment ID, tracking reference will cancle the shipment and will receive the cancelled message in the chatter log.
