Rental Management

Manage vehicle rentals directly from Sales Orders. Rental products use a dedicated product type and rental fields to calculate duration and pricing, while availability checks prevent double-booking.

Key Features

Duration Logic

• Duration is computed from start/end DateTime on the sales order line.
• Pricing tier is selected by duration:
• < 24 hours = hourly price.
• ≥ 24 hours = daily price.
• ≥ 7 days = weekly price.
• Minimum durations apply per tier (hours/days/weeks).

Rental Fields on Product

• Set product type to Rental.
• Define pricing: hourly, daily, and weekly rates.
• Set minimum durations for each tier (hours, days, weeks).
• Configure padding hours to enforce buffer time between rentals.
• Fill vehicle metadata (make/model, plate, category, mileage) for tracking.
