Restrict Negative Stock
Restrict Negative Stock module ensures inventory accuracy in Odoo by preventing the validation of Delivery Orders and the completion of Manufacturing Orders when required product quantities are insufficient. It enforces real-time stock checks, blocking any operation that would lead to negative inventory. By integrating this module, businesses can maintain accurate stock levels and enhance overall inventory reliability.
Create Delivery Order
Navigate to the Sales or Inventory module.
Create a new Delivery Order with the customer and products to be delivered.
Prevent Delivery Orders with Insufficient Stock
If the available quantity is less than the required quantity, the system will restrict validation and display an error to the user.
User Error: There is insufficient stock available for the selected products.
Create Manufacturing Order
Navigate to the Manufacturing module.
Create a new Manufacturing Order specifying the product to be manufactured and the required components.
Prevent Manufacturing Order Completion with Insufficient Components
If the required components are not sufficiently available in stock, the system restricts Manufacturing Order and shows an error message.
User Error: There is insufficient stock available for the selected products.
