Step-by-Step Configuration Guide

1. Step 1: Open Meta CRM Configuration
   Navigate to CRM → Meta CRM Integration → Configuration and create or open your company configuration record.
2. Step 2: Enter Meta Credentials
   Fill in your Meta API credentials under the Meta Credentials section:
   • Access Token: Enter your Meta System User or User Access Token (requires permissions to read leads, manage pages, and access ads).
   • App ID & App Secret: Enter your Meta Developer App ID and Secret.
   • Pixel / Dataset ID: Enter your Meta Pixel ID or Dataset ID for Conversions API (CAPI).
   • Ad Account ID: Enter your Facebook Ad Account ID (found in your Meta Ads Manager).
   • Graph API Version: Set the latest Graph API version (for example, v21.0).
3. Step 3: Test Connection
   Click the Test Connection header button on the configuration form to verify API authentication.
4. Step 4: Fetch & Connect Facebook Pages
   Click the Fetch Facebook Pages button. The app will fetch all Facebook Pages linked to your token and create records under CRM → Meta CRM Integration → Facebook Pages.
5. Step 5: Fetch Lead Forms
   Open a Facebook Page record and click Fetch Lead Forms to import active Facebook Lead Forms into CRM → Meta CRM Integration → Lead Forms.
6. Step 6: Configure Lead Form Routing & Field Mappings
   Open each Lead Form record to configure routing and question mappings:
   • Create As: Choose whether responses create a Lead or a pipeline Opportunity.
   • Salesperson & Sales Team: Assign default Salesperson and Sales Team for automatic routing.
   • Auto Sync: Enable background sync for this form.
   • Question Mappings: Review auto-matched fields (for example, mapping the form's name field to Contact Name, and email to Email). Select Odoo CRM fields for any custom questions.
7. Step 7: Configure Real-Time Webhook (Optional for Instant Lead Delivery)
   On your Configuration record, copy the Webhook Callback URL and Webhook Verify Token. In Meta Developer Portal, subscribe your application to receive lead form submissions using these credentials to get instant real-time lead delivery!
8. Step 8: Automated Background Cron Job
   The app registers a background cron job (Meta CRM Integration: fetch Facebook leads) running every 15 minutes to automatically poll new leads as a reliable backup.
9. Step 9: Monitor Inbound Leads & Outbound CAPI Events
   View incoming leads in Odoo CRM with the dedicated Facebook Lead Details tab. Track ingestion stats under Lead Sync History and check CAPI events under CAPI Conversion Events.
