It provides a native **Dual Authentication Selector**: you can link via standard Personal Access Tokens (just paste your `store_hash`, `access_token`, and `client_id` for instant activation) or authenticate via BigCommerce App OAuth. Under the hood, the engine uses a highly optimized **Hybrid API Architecture**: fetching complex sales data via highly secure REST v2 endpoints and updating massive variation inventories using high-performance REST v3 catalog schemas, resulting in fast operations and zero token expiration dropouts.

How It Works

Quick API setup using standard BigCommerce tokens.

Create Store API Account

In your BigCommerce control panel, navigate to Settings → API Accounts → Create API Account. Select "Store API Account" and grant Read/Write access for Orders and Products.

Paste Credentials in Odoo

Download your API text credentials, create a BigCommerce Account record inside Odoo, select Store API Account, and copy/paste your store hash, access token, and client ID.

Activate & Run

Click "Activate Store" in Odoo. Odoo tests the connection and immediately begins syncing orders and inventory. Permanent tokens guarantee zero authentication failures.

❓ Can I sync multiple store channels using a single developer app credential? Yes. You can manage multiple storefronts under a single Odoo instance by creating distinct BigCommerce Shop records, each mapped to its respective store hash and access token.

❓ What occurs if an order item has a missing or blank SKU code? The connector maps listings to Odoo products based on SKU/Internal Reference. If an order line has a missing SKU, our built-in SKU fallback logic assigns the line item to a predefined Odoo fallback product, ensuring the order imports cleanly.

❓ Do store personal access API tokens expire over time? No. BigCommerce Store API Accounts provide permanent tokens that never expire. This eliminates authentication drops and ensures continuous scheduled operations without administrative attention.
