Module Overview
This module empowers your sales team by providing advanced tools to automate partner follow-up via scheduled activities, email, SMS, discount codes, and customizable workflows, similar to Odoo’s invoice reminders, but tailored for sales reactivation.
Follow-up Configuration Options
- Send personalized emails or SMS to your partners.
- Define follow-up activity chains to re-engage clients.
- Apply exclusive discount codes for returning customers.
- Assign follow-up tasks to the right sales representatives.
How to Use the Module
Step 1: Access Configuration
- Go to the Sales menu
- Click on Configuration
- Then under Follow-up, access Configuration

Step 2: Create Follow-up Lines
- Define a delay (in days) after the last order
- Choose the follow-up type: Email, SMS, Discount, or Activity
- Each line represents an automated action in the follow-up sequence

Step 3: Enable Automated Actions
- Go to Settings > Technical > Automation > Scheduled Actions
- Activate both cron jobs named "Sale Followup"
- One runs at 07:00 to refresh contact status
- The other runs at 10:00 to send notifications


Step 4: (Optional) Configure Individual Partners
- Go to the Contacts module
- Open any partner form
- In the Sale Follow-up tab:
- Enable or disable follow-up for this partner
- Switch to manual mode if needed
- Assign a specific Follow-up Responsible

Step 5: Let Automation Run
- At 07:00: contact statuses are refreshed
- At 10:00: emails, SMS, and activities are triggered
- Ensure your Odoo server runs scheduled jobs (cron) correctly
Step 6: Monitor Results
- Go to Sales > Follow-up
- Access Partners to see follow-up status per client
- Access Lines to track reminders and actions

Installation Guide
To install the module:
- Navigate to the Odoo Apps menu.
- Click Update Apps List if needed.
- Search for sale_followup.
- Click Install to activate the module.
