With this app, you can create a sales order that allows customers to pay in installments on a yearly, monthly, weekly,
every 3 months and every 6 months.
You can also configure the interest rate for each period type.
Create Installment Period And Interest Rate.
- Create different installment periods with different interest rates.
- The interest rate is calculated using the simple interest formula.
- For example, the installment period type is monthly with an interest rate of 1% per month.
- On the sales order, the installment duration is 90 days and the total amount is $420. Therefore, the interest amount will be:
Interest amount = (1% / 30) Ã 90 Ã 420 = $12.6
Workflow.
1. Create sale order and select Installment period type and installment period.
2. Click "Compute Installment" to calculate the Installment Plan.
- Installment Plan is shown on the quotation pdf and customer portal.
3. After the sales order is confirmed and the invoice is created,
Odoo will display the installment schedule on the sales order form view and on the customer portal.
- If click on the "Pay" button. The register payment popup will be shown.
- The installment schedule is also shown on the customer portal.
