Withholding Tax On Sale Orders
Description
Withholding tax, also known as tax retention, Pay-as-You-Go, or Pay-as-You-Earn, is a system where tax is deducted at the source before the payment is made to the recipient. Instead of the recipient remitting the tax, the payer collects and submits it directly to the government. Applying withholding tax on sales orders can be complex and requires precise calculations. This module streamlines the process, ensuring accurate tax deductions and compliance with regulations, making tax management more efficient and hassle-free.
Features
- → Automated Tax Deduction
- → Configurable Tax Ratio
- → Seamless Integration with Accounting
Screenshots
In the Accounting module, there is a dedicated menu for Withholding Tax, where users can create and manage their taxes./p>

The Tax Scope offers three options: Sales, Purchases, and WHT on Taxes, allowing users to define their WHT accordingly. For tax application: Select At Payment to collect WHT at the time of payment. Select At Invoice to collect WHT when the invoice is issued. Finally, set the tax ratio as needed.

After creating the WHT tax, assign it to the relevant customers to ensure it is automatically applied during transactions.

WHT is displayed line by line separately. Below that, a complete list of all WHT lines is shown in a structured format. At the bottom, the total WHT amount for the invoice is displayed.
