Define how every salesperson earns, generate per-period statements automatically from your invoices or sales orders, and pay accurately â with PDF statements and analysis dashboards.
The problem & who it's for
Odoo Community ships no commission management, so sales managers reconcile payouts in spreadsheets â slow, error-prone and impossible to audit. Sales Commission Pro adds a complete, configurable sales commission engine for Odoo Community. It works with your existing Odoo salespeople and sales teams (it does not require HR employees): assign a plan, run a statement, and let the engine compute exactly what each rep earned.
Key features
Flexible commission basis
Pay on percentage of invoiced amount or percentage of margin, with a fallback default rate applied whenever no tier or override matches.
Tiered marginal brackets
Enable progressive tiers so commission is paid per marginal bracket (for example 0â10k at 3%, 10kâ50k at 5%, above 50k at 7%) instead of one flat rate.
Per-product & per-category rates
Override the rate for specific products or product categories, so high-margin or strategic lines reward the rep differently from the rest.
Quotas & accelerators
Set a period quota per plan and apply an accelerator rate to the commission earned over quota â rewarding reps who beat their target.
Automatic clawbacks
When enabled, credit notes and refunds produce negative (clawback) lines on the statement, so commission already counted on returned sales is correctly reversed.
Configurable trigger
Choose when commission is earned â on confirmed sale order, on invoice, or on payment â to match how your business recognises a sale.
Per-salesperson statements
One statement per salesperson per period: generate, recompute, confirm and mark as paid through a clean draft â confirmed â paid workflow, with a printable QWeb PDF.
Teams, analysis & security
Attach plans to individual salespeople or whole sales teams. Graph and pivot dashboards break commission down by salesperson and period; Commission Manager/User roles let reps see only their own statements. Multi-company aware.
How it works
- Build a commission plan â basis, default rate, tiers, per-product/category overrides, quota, accelerator, clawback and trigger.
- Assign the plan to salespeople or sales teams.
- Generate a statement for a salesperson over a period; lines are built from the matching invoices or sales orders.
- Review and recompute as needed, then confirm and mark as paid.
- Print the PDF statement and analyse payouts in the graph and pivot dashboards.

Most commission solutions are paid SaaS add-ons or Enterprise extensions. Sales Commission Pro is a
self-contained engine for Odoo Community that reuses your existing salespeople and
teams, depends only on sale, account and mail, and computes
tiers, margins, accelerators and clawbacks with a fully unit-tested core.
