Sales Pipeline Weighted Forecast
Stage-probability weighted revenue forecast with period targets, rep/product breakdown and forecast-vs-actual
Sales Pipeline Weighted Forecast turns the raw CRM pipeline into a disciplined, period-based revenue forecast without spreadsheets. Every opportunity is weighted by its win probability, classified into Commit/Best Case/Pipeline/Worst Case, matched to the forecast period covering its expected closing date, and rolled up into rep and product breakdowns with daily forecast-vs-actual snapshots.
Key Features
Weighted forecast on every opportunity
Each opportunity gets a Weighted Forecast amount (Expected Revenue x win Probability) and a Forecast Category resolved from the same probability that already drives the CRM stage, with a closed-won deal always counted at full value and a closed-lost deal always at zero.
Forecast product breakdown
An optional Forecast Product on any opportunity unlocks a product-level forecast breakdown alongside the rep-level one, both on the dashboard and in snapshots.
Monthly, quarterly or custom Forecast Periods
Define a period, optionally scoped to one sales team, with a revenue target; opportunities are automatically matched to the period whose date range covers their Expected Closing date.
Live period scenario amounts
Each period computes total and weighted pipeline, Commit/Best Case/Worst Case scenario amounts, already-closed-won actuals, target attainment percentage and the variance between weighted forecast and real actual, straight from the current pipeline.
One-click Match Opportunities
Retroactively link any opportunity whose Expected Closing date falls inside a period, so periods created after opportunities already exist still pick them up.
Forecast-vs-actual snapshots
Capture Snapshot freezes a period's current pipeline, weighted and scenario amounts, actual won-to-date, variance and full rep+product breakdown into an immutable record, building a real forecast-accuracy history over time.
Daily automatic snapshot capture
A scheduled action captures a snapshot for every open period automatically, so last week's weighted forecast for a quarter can be compared against how it actually played out.
Pipeline forecast dashboard
A pivot/graph dashboard on the pipeline measures the weighted forecast and groups by salesperson, forecast product, forecast category and forecast period.

Why Choose This Module
Because weighting, categorisation, period aggregation, rep/product breakdown and forecast-vs-actual variance all live in one framework-free Python engine, the number a rep sees on their own opportunity, the number rolled up into the period total, and the number frozen into a daily snapshot are all guaranteed to be computed by the exact same rules.
