Salesforce NGO Connector - Features

How to get credentials from Salesforce account
- Click on the gear icon.
- Click on Setup as highlighted in the screenshot.
- Go to Apps -> External Client Apps -> External Client App Manager
- Now, click on New External Client App
- A form like below will appear. Make sure to fill all the required fields and enable the checkbox highlighted with a red box.
- Once you check the checkbox and scroll down, you will see a form.
- Here, you need to add a callback url and permission or OAuth scopes
- The format of the callback url is https://{Your Odoo Instance}/salesforce
- For example, if you instance name is odoo-dev-stage.com, the callback url should be https://odoo-dev-stage.com/salesforce
- Now, you need to add the required OAuth scopes.
- Add all the scopes mentioned in the screenshot to avoid any issues related to configurations.
- Click on Create. Now, you will see Client ID and Client Secret Key at your screen
- Save it as it will be used while connecting Salesforce NGO with Cloud
Salesforce User Guide
- Go to Settings -> Salesforce and enable Salesforce Setting Enabler checkbox.
- Enter your salesforce credentials saved in the initial steps and click Test Credentials button.
- Install Salesforce from Apps and click on Salesforce.
- You will see all sync options available and custom data range option.
- Once you have selected the sync option, click on Execute.
