This app significantly enhances Odoo project management capabilities by automating the creation of tasks and to-dos directly from scheduled activities. Internal Users can log in, run the scheduled activity wizard, and automatically generate a to-do with the Resource Name, Resource Model, and Resource ID pre-filled.

Project Users, upon running a scheduled activity and selecting a project, can automatically create a task with the Resource Name, Resource Model, Resource ID, and associated project pre-set. If no project is selected, the system will create both a task and a to-do with the same details.

This app enables seamless automation by converting scheduled activities into project tasks or to-dos within Odoo, streamlining task creation and enhancing productivity.

The system will automatically generate to-dos or project tasks for all available options under the Scheduled Activity screen in Odoo. This functionality is fully integrated and works seamlessly across the chatter of all Odoo form screens.

Main Features:

  • Enhanced Odoo Project Management: Automates the creation of tasks or to-dos directly from scheduled activities, saving time and improving efficiency.
  • Automatic To-Do Creation for Internal Users:
    • When logged in as an Internal User:
    • Run the scheduled activity wizard.
    • Automatically generates a to-do with the following fields pre-set:
      • Resource Name
      • Resource Model
      • Resource ID
  • Automatic Task Creation for Project Users (with Project Selection):
    • When logged in as a Project User:
    • Run a scheduled activity and select a project.
    • Automatically creates a task with the following fields pre-set:
      • Resource Name
      • Resource Model
      • Resource ID
      • Associated project set
  • Dual Creation for Project Users (without Project Selection):
    • When logged in as a Project User:
    • Run the scheduled activity wizard without selecting a project.
    • Automatically generates both a task and a to-do with the following fields pre-set:
      • Resource Name
      • Resource Model
      • Resource ID
