Create Purchase Orders directly from Sale Orders
How It Works
Create Purchase Order from Sale Order allows you to create Purchase Orders directly from a Sale Order using a simple wizard. The module ensures proper linkage between Sale Orders and Purchase Orders with smart buttons and quantity control.
1. Create Purchase Order from Sale Order
A new Create Purchase Order button is available on the Sale Order form. You can also see the Purchase Orders smart button showing linked POs.
2. Wizard Based Purchase Order Creation
A popup wizard opens where you can select the vendor, schedule date, update cost price, view already ordered quantity, and set Need to Order quantity.
3. Purchase Orders Linked to Sale Order
Once created, Purchase Orders are automatically linked to the Sale Order and can be accessed anytime using the smart button.
4. Purchase Order List View from Sale Order
Clicking the smart button opens a filtered list of Purchase Orders created from the Sale Order, showing their status and total amount.
5. Sale Order Status & PO Tracking
Sale Order shows clear visibility of Purchase Orders even when they are cancelled or confirmed, ensuring complete traceability.
6. Purchase Order Linked Back to Sale Order
Each Purchase Order keeps a reference of the originating Sale Order, making navigation and auditing simple and transparent.
