Enable the option to set a credit limit for customers

Go to Settings > Invoicing / Accounting > Customer Invoices > Sales Credit Limit
You can set default credit limit for all customers.
The credit limit applies only to the parent customer. All child accounts will share the same credit limit, and any deductions will be made from the parent customer's credit limit if a child account is set..

Apply credit to the account of specific customer

You can set a different credit limit for a specific customer directly from the customer form.

Create Credit Journal

Check the credit journal boolean to ensure it is identified as a credit journal in the POS System.

Create Credit Payment Method

Configure Credit Payment method in POS

Available Credit Limit in POS

The available credit limit will be displayed for the customer to indicate the remaining balance they can use for the credit payment method.

Customer required Warning

To use the credit payment method, the customer is required to have a valid credit limit.

Use Available Credit

Allow customers to use their available credit if the payment amount is below or equal to their available credit limit.

Payment done using credit payment method

The POS receipt will capture and display any payment made using the credit payment method.

Credit Limit Exceed

The system will raise a warning if the customer does not have enough credit for the full payment. However, they can still use the available credit to pay part of the amount and settle the remaining balance using another payment method.

Partial Payment

Customer can make a partial payment using the available credit and settle the remaining balance using another payment method.
