Reset Inventory Stock Instantly with Safe Confirmation
Simple & Powerful Inventory Reset Tool
This module allows stock managers to quickly clear stock quantities directly from the Stock Quant view. It ensures safety with a confirmation popup and keeps proper inventory tracking.

Warning
This action will permanently reset stock quantities to zero using inventory adjustment. Please use it carefully.
Step 1: Go to Inventory â Locations
Start by opening the Odoo Inventory module from the main dashboard. Navigate to the Locations menu to view your inventory locations and access the current stock quants.
Step 2: Select Product
From the stock view, carefully select one or multiple products whose on-hand inventory you wish to reset. You can use the standard Odoo list view checkboxes to select multiple records at once.
Step 3: Click Actions â Clear Stock
After selecting the desired products, click on the Actions dropdown menu located at the top of the screen. Select the new Clear Stock option to initiate the inventory reset process.
Step 4: Confirmation Popup
To ensure inventory safety and prevent accidental data loss, a confirmation popup dialog will appear. Review the warning and click the confirmation button to proceed with resetting the stock to zero.
Step 5: Stock Reset to Zero
Once confirmed, the module instantly processes the request. The available stock quantities for all selected products will be automatically updated and reset to zero without requiring manual inventory adjustments.
Step 6: Stock History Entry
For complete transparency and auditing purposes, the system automatically generates an Inventory Adjustment record. You can track this action in the Moves History to see exactly when and how the stock was cleared.
