Merge PDF Attachments
Simplify document management by merging attachments
Enhance your Odoo workflow by enabling the PDF Merge feature for any model like Sales Orders, Leads Documents and more.
Merge multiple PDF attachments into a single document, download them in bulk, or save the result directly to the chatter.
Key Features
- Enable PDF merge per model (e.g., Leads, Sales Order)
- Download all attachments as a .zip file
- Automatically merge and save PDFs in the chatter
- Toggle PDF merge with a simple checkbox
- Fully integrated with Odoo chatter and attachment system
- Supports multiple models simultaneously
Configuration
- Navigate to Settings - Merge Attachment Configuration
- Select the models where you want the PDF merge functionality to be available (e.g., Leads, Sales Order)
- Enable or disable the following options based on your needs:
- Download attachment zip â Allows downloading all PDF attachments as a ZIP file
- Merge PDF Attachments â Merges multiple PDF files into one consolidated document
- Save merged PDF as attachment â Automatically saves the merged file in the record's chatter
- Click Save to apply your configuration
- Once saved, the system will automatically:
- Create corresponding server actions and buttons in the selected models (e.g., Sales Order, Leads)
- Make merge/download features available on the record view for those models
- If you later remove a model from the configuration:
- The system will automatically clean up and remove the related actions and buttons from that model
- This ensures your system stays clean and free of unused UI elements
This dynamic setup makes it easy to control where the PDF merge functionality appears, giving you flexibility without needing technical customization.
