Overview
Share Selected Records Pro is the enhanced version of the Share Selected Records module. This module allows users to easily generate and share secure links to any set of selected records across Odoo models. It’s designed to streamline collaboration between internal users by providing controlled, temporary, and trackable access to shared records.
With the Pro version, you get advanced sharing features like access restrictions, viewer notifications, expiration handling, note creation, and a centralized dashboard to manage all shared links, right from the Discuss module.
No more screenshots or complicated exports, simply select, generate, share, and collaborate!
Key Features
- Share Records via Secure Link: Easily generate a shareable link for any selected records from the list view.
- Control Viewer Access: Define specific users who can view the shared link. Leave empty for public access.
- Viewer Notification Option: Enable viewers to send notifications or alerts about updates on the shared records.

How to Use
Select records from the list view
Click on "Generate Link"
Click the copy button to copy the generated link and share it through any communication channel
Alternatively, you can create a note and send it via a notification
View All Shared Record Links
Go to the Discuss module > Shared Links
Configuration Options
- View Records: Displays the records that have been shared.
- Viewers: Defines who can view the shared link. Leave empty to allow access to everyone.
- Viewer Can Notify: Allows viewers to send notifications about updates.
- Expiration Date: The link will be automatically deleted after this date.
- Copy Link Button: Lets users copy the shared record link with a single click.
- Create Note: Allows all followers (creator and viewers) to log a note and send it via notification.
