Disable Auto Followers
Disable Auto Followers is an Odoo utility module that gives administrators better control over system notifications by preventing the automatic addition of followers on records. By disabling auto-follow behavior, the app ensures that users are not unnecessarily subscribed to documents they do not need to track, thereby reducing email clutter and notification noise. This results in a cleaner communication flow, improved user focus, and more efficient collaboration, especially in environments where large numbers of records are created or updated frequently across multiple Odoo applications.

Set Up & Configurations
Download and install the Disable Auto Followers module from the Odoo App Store.
Go to Settings >> General Settings
Locate the new section titled: Disable/Restrict to add Followers.
Check the boolean: Restrict Followers
Upon checking, a new field appears: Disable Followers Model
Select models like Sales Order (sale.order) or Purchase Order (purchase.order), and Save it.
Work Flow
Now, when you create a new Sales Order (for example):
The customer selected will not be added as a follower.
Only the internal user will be logged, based on contex.
You can still:
Manually add followers.
Enable/disable send notification when inviting.
