Invoice Product Matrix
This module enhances Odoo's invoicing workflow by allowing users to
select and add products directly
through a structured matrix interface. The matrix layout simplifies product identification,
enables
quick line-item creation, and significantly reduces manual effort during invoice preparation. By
consolidating product variants, quantities, and pricing details in one view, it ensures faster and more
accurate invoice generation.
Designed for businesses handling multiple product variants or bulk invoicing, this feature streamlines
operations and minimizes data entry errors. Users can manage product selections more intuitively, avoid
repetitive navigation through product lists, and maintain consistency across invoices. The result is a
more efficient billing process that improves productivity and enhances overall financial accuracy.
Key Features
Grid View Selection
Choose from a grid view based on your product attributes for easy order line entry.
Matrix View Selection
You can also select Matrix view for the product variants to efficiently include information in the order lines.
Set Up & Configurations
Download and install the Invoice Product Matrix module from the Odoo App Store.
After you activate it, you will be able to see the Variant grid entry option inside the invoice setting
which will be auto-enabled.
Do not disable it as it will uninstall this app.
Work Flow
Go to the Products page select any product and go to the Attributes & Variants section and add
attributes. Once you add more then one attribute value you will see a new field below titled "Inventory
Variant Selection"
Here you should be able to see three options.
1. Normal Entry
2. Order Grid Entry
3. Product Configurator
If you select Normal Entry, then you will be able to add Products in Inventory lines normally.
If you select Order Grid Entry, You will see a grid view open and you will be able to fill in details with it.
In the "Other Info" tab, you will be able to see option "Print Variant Grids". If you check it, you will see a grid view of the products variants in the report of invoice.
If you select Product Configurator, You will see a matrix view open and you will be able to fill in details with it.
