Mindee Financial Document Parser
The Mindee Financial Document Parser for Odoo leverages Mindee's advanced AI-powered OCR technology to automatically extract and structure critical data from financial documents such as invoices, receipts, bills, and expense records directly within Odoo. By eliminating manual data entry, this module improves accuracy, reduces processing time, and ensures consistent financial data capture across accounting and expense workflows. Once a document is uploaded, the system intelligently reads key fields including vendor details, dates, totals, taxes, and line items and maps them to the relevant Odoo records, enabling faster validations, smoother accounting operations, and a more efficient, error-free document management process.

Set Up & Configurations
Download and install the Mindee Financial Document Parser module from the Odoo App Store.
Go to Accounting Module >> Configuration >> Settings and under the "General Settings",
option you
will
find "Mindee Financial Document Parser" subsection.
Here you have to provide API Key provided by
Mindee and enable Create
Partner
and Product While Mindee Expense Receipt Parsing options as per your requirement.
Work Flow
Go to Accounting >> Vendors >> Bills and click on new.
Here, you can attach an Expense Receipt as
shown
in the example below, and as soon as you press the "Mindee Financial Document Parsing" button, you will
see that
Expense Receipt details are auto populated inside Odoo.
As you can see below, the details are auto populated. If you want to check more information you can go to the "Other Info" tab and scroll down and you will be able to see more information such as Mindee response and there will be two more options.
In the Other Info tab you will be able to see Response from Mindee.
Inside the Scheduled Actions Menu, you will be able to see this custom Scheduler that we have created to Parse such Expense Receipts.
Here under the same "Other Info" tab, you will see one more option called "Auto Expense Receipt Parsing from Mindee?" if you check it, with the help of Scheduler at a specific time you will automatically Parse them.
