Model Rules
Choose exactly which Odoo models should hide the Delete action.
Group Based
Apply rules to selected user groups or leave groups empty for all users.
Form and List Views
Remove Delete from selected records in list views and single records in form views.
Dynamic Delete Action Control
Control delete visibility without editing views or source code.Per Model Configuration
Create one rule for each model where the Delete action should be hidden.
User Group Targeting
Limit the rule to selected user groups, such as Sales users, administrators, or custom groups.
Clean Odoo UI
The Delete item disappears from the standard Actions menu while other actions stay available.
Hide Delete in Real Views
Configure the rule once, then check the form and list action menus.
Configure Model and Groups
Select the target model, activate the rule, and choose user groups that should no longer see the Delete action.
Delete Hidden on Form View
On the sales order form, the Actions menu still shows allowed actions while Delete is removed for the configured rule.
Delete Hidden on List View
After selecting records in the list view, the Actions dropdown no longer displays Delete for users affected by the rule.
