Per-Team Configuration
Define custom delay thresholds for each sales team — 1st reminder, 2nd reminder, and manager escalation. Set a minimum order amount to avoid reminders on small deals.
Daily Automation at 8 AM
A scheduled cron runs every morning and automatically flags overdue quotes. It creates Odoo mail.activity tasks for salespeople and sends internal notifications for escalated quotes.
1-Click Follow-up Wizard
Hit "Send Follow-up" on any overdue quotation to open a pre-filled email wizard. The subject and body are automatically rendered from your custom email template. Send in seconds.
Color-Coded Status Badges
Every quotation list now shows a follow-up status badge: OK, Pending, Overdue, or Escalated. The status bar is also visible on the form view.
Manager Escalation
When a quote reaches the escalation threshold, the sales team manager automatically receives an Odoo internal notification with the quote name, customer, and days without reply.
Kanban Board
A dedicated Kanban view groups all quotes to follow up by status. Each card shows the customer name, deal amount, days without reply (red badge if >7 days), and a quick action follow-up button.
Up and running in 3 steps
Configure
Go to Sales › Follow-ups › Configuration and create one rule per sales team. Set your delay thresholds and choose your email template.
Monitor
The daily cron runs automatically at 8 AM. Salespeople see activities appear in their inbox. Navigate to Sales › Follow-ups › Quotes to Follow Up for the full pipeline view.
Act
Click Send Follow-up on any overdue quote. The wizard pre-fills everything. One click to send — follow-up count and date are automatically recorded.
