Odoo app that allows users to add multiple products to a scrap order in a single transaction. This app will extend the standard Odoo functionality by improving efficiency in managing the scrapping process, particularly for environments like manufacturing, where multiple products may need to be scrapped simultaneously.
How to Install module
Go to the app store and then click on
install
Search Functionality
Here, Users can search for products using
product name.
Scrap Management.
Multi-product Selection: Users should be able to select multiple products to be scrapped in one operation. Each product must have its own quantity and scrap reason.Users should be able to add multiple lines in the form,each representing a different product and quantity to be scrapped.
Scrap Order Creation.
Users should be able to add multiple lines in the form, each representing a different product and quantity to be scrapped.Include fields for:Source Location (Dropdown).Scrap Location (Dropdown or pre-defined).List of Products (Multiple products can be added).Scrap Reason (optional field for each product line).
Tracking & Reporting.
The system should log all scrap operations and make them available in the Inventory module under Operations > Scrap Orders.Scrap operations grouped by date, product, and location.
Validation In Scrap.
Upon creation of a scrap order, the system should check for stock availability in the source location.Upon validation, the system should create stock movements to move products to the scrap location.Ensure that once a scrap order is validated, it cannot be modified.
User Roles & Permissions.
User Roles and Permissions for managing Scrap in the Inventory module allow businesses to control who can create, manage, or process scrap operations. Proper role configuration ensures that only authorized personnel can handle scrap management, which is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and preventing misuse.
