⚙️ Enable from Website Settings
Go to Settings → Website and enable "Allow Partial Payment (Checkout)". Set the advance type as Percentage or Fixed and configure the value (e.g. 50%).
🛒 Customer Selects Payment Option at Checkout
On the checkout page, the customer sees two options — Pay Full Amount or Pay Advance Amount. The order summary dynamically shows Advance to Pay Now and Remaining Balance (COD).
📋 Advance Payment Recorded in Backend
After checkout, the advance payment is automatically recorded in Odoo (e.g. PBNK1/2026/00002 — $12.50 In Process) — fully traceable from the Sales Order.
